Fiberglass
In the world of insulation, there’s really no way to cut corners. You get what you pay for. If quality, durability and comfort are your priorities, then we can help you add value to your structure whether it’s your primary residence, vacation home or commercial space.
From the start, when discussing fiberglass insulation, it’s our duty as professionals to let our clients and prospective clients know that fiberglass insulation is not the optimal choice for today’s homes and businesses. That said, if a client has their heart set on fiberglass insulation, we will install it and will do an excellent job. That said, fiberglass ~is~ an option, it’s just not the option that we typically recommend.
If you ~are~ set on fiberglass, we recommend blown-in or “loose-fill” insulation. Since loose fill fiberglass is shredded it can be sprayed (blown-in) therefore able to be fitted to any size cavity.
In an attic, as long as the air sealing has been done properly, there is little to no air flow thru the fiberglass allowing it to work at its maximum efficiency.
